Run Out Gages - Air Bearing Spin Table
Ultra-Precision Runout, Cylindricity and Concentricity Measurements
ABTech inc has combined AT series air bearing rotary tables with gage stands and granite bases to provide precision gage packages for measuring run out or total indicator reading (T.I.R.). Use with optional electronic gage/amplifier packages or in conjunction with your preferred lever, cartridge type indicator or electronic gage head and amplifier. Ideal for individual work piece inspection, lens alignment, ID to OD runout and tooling alignment.
Compact TIR100 gages offer a portable and cost effective option for measuring extremely accurate run out on smaller parts. The system comes complete with an adjustable locking tilt and center worktable, coalescing filter regulator, and a modified toolroom style gage holder. Mounted on a solid granite with the air bearing thru-hole extended through the granite for clear passage of light source for lens to barrel alignment. Optional vacuum feed through center safely and securely holds optical lenses or other sensitive parts.
TIR200 gages feature larger working areas and load capacities to accomodate bigger parts. A tilt and center worktable, inspection style gage stand and coalescing filter regulator are included and multiple gage stands or dual arms can be provided for multi-feature measurements. Spacious 36" x 36" granite on a welded steel base provides stability at a comfortable working height and is designed for transportability with fork or hand trucks.
Other ABTech AT series air bearing tables, tilt/center worktables, granite bases, work holding chucks and motor drives are available for customization to your specific application.
