Standard Rotary Air Bearing (AT) Direct Drive Series

ABTech's AT series rotary air bearings with direct drives feature sub-micron accuracies with ultra-smooth motion; absolute repeatability; high load capacities and stiffness.

Constructed of precision machined, hardened stainless steel materials for years of maintenance-free durable service (lighter weight hard coated aluminum construction is also available). Each air bearing has a clear thru-hole for cable access, vacuum feed or directing laser light for lens axis alignment. 

Standard AT direct drive series rotary air bearing tables use our dual thrust plate bearing design for lower speed applications, generally 0-100 rpm but avaiable up to 1,000 rpm (for higher desired speeds we recommend our SP or WHS style spindle designs). Direct drive rotary air bearings are available in 4", 6", 8", 10", 12" and 16" with optional worktables up to 24" in diameter. Custom sizes and configurations are available.
